Stunning Modern, Minimalist Tiny House

Stylish, modern and ultra minimal, this beautiful, architecturally designed tiny house is sure to impress. From is all-black metal exterior to it’s minimalist plywood interior, this solar-powered home is one you are definitely going to want to check out!

Kelly has spent a lot of time hiking, and her main inspiration for the tiny houses’s design was drawn from the classic New Zealand bush huts, which are simple, minimal, hardy and which inspire a real connection with nature. In designing this tiny house, Kelly worked with architects who took her vision to the next level, creating a beautiful, modern and cleverly designed home.

Stepping inside, it’s almost hard to believe that someone actually lives there as there is absolutely no mess, nothing out of place and no visual clutter to be seen at all. Loads of storage and clever cabinetry design means that everything has its place. Kelly wanted to make sure the home was one that she could relax in, where everything could be put away and where she can truly have a sanctuary space.

Perhaps even more inspiring than the home itself, is the way in which it has enabled Kelly to change her life direction. After selling a 3 bedroom home in Wellington, downsizing into a tiny house has freed up money and financial resources. It’s allowed her to swap into a new, much loved profession as a kindergarten teacher and also cut down her working days each week.
