This SUPERSIZED Tiny House Makes Downsizing Feel Like an Upgrade

What happens when you take everything that's wonderful about a traditional tiny house and make it just a little bit bigger? The result might just be the ultimate family home! In this week's episode, we visit an incredible tiny house in Germany that combines spacious architectural design with some seriously impressive technology.

Stefanie and Carlos dreamed of escaping city life and creating a home where they could feel connected to nature and enjoy a slower pace of living. Together, they've created an extraordinary home for their family of four, nestled amongst beautiful natural surroundings where every day feels a little like being on holiday.

At 12 metres long and 3.7 metres wide, this home is considerably larger than a conventional tiny house. With soaring ceilings reaching 4.9 metres high, the extra space has allowed for some truly brilliant design features. Inside, the home boasts a generous kitchen, a beautiful staircase filled with storage, cleverly arranged loft spaces, and dedicated areas for the whole family. Everything has been thoughtfully designed to create a comfortable home that can grow and change alongside their children.

Yet perhaps the most remarkable thing about this home is what's hidden behind the walls! Packed with advanced smart home technology, the house features sophisticated automated ventilation, air quality monitoring, hidden infrared heating and an impressive solar installation. Incredibly, the builders estimated that the home contains as much as 1.6 kilometres of cabling!

Despite all this technology, the home feels wonderfully warm and natural. Beautiful oak timber, clay-plastered walls and thoughtful interior design create a space that's inviting, comfortable and full of character. Here, the technology is exactly where it should be, quietly working behind the scenes to make everyday life easier.

Having now lived in their tiny house for six years, Stefanie and Carlos have created a home that perfectly reflects their philosophy of living with less, but better. This is a wonderful example of how clever design, innovative technology and a little extra space can make downsizing feel like a genuine upgrade.

We hope you enjoy the tour of this extraordinary family tiny house!
