Artful Slow Living in Her Enchanting Tiny Home

Hidden amongst the trees in a beautiful corner of Belgium, Hanne has created a truly enchanting tiny house that feels like something straight out of a fairytale. Filled with warm colours, natural materials, lush greenery and charming personal touches, this is a home that celebrates creativity, individuality and the art of slow living.

For Hanne, moving into a tiny house was about much more than simply downsizing. After years of city living in Antwerp, she dreamed of a slower, simpler life, surrounded by nature and free from the financial pressures of owning a conventional home.

Her journey into tiny house living began in a rather unusual way, when she participated in a Belgian television show where two teams competed to build her dream home in just nine days! The result was a wonderfully character-filled tiny house that Hanne has spent the past four years making entirely her own.

Measuring 9 metres long and 3 metres wide, the 27m² home is filled with clever design ideas and beautiful reclaimed materials. Old church windows, salvaged timber beams, colourful decorations and an abundance of plants give the interior a wonderfully cozy, cottage-inspired atmosphere.

The clever layout includes an elevated lounge with a hidden kitchen beneath, a spacious cooking and dining area, and a beautifully designed bedroom and bathroom with plenty of integrated storage. Throughout the home, Hanne has added her own creative touches, turning every corner into something personal and special.

Beyond the house itself, Hanne has created a lifestyle that allows her to live and work on her own terms. With her tiny home nestled amongst the trees and a campervan ready for adventures, she's found a wonderful balance between having a peaceful place to call home and the freedom to explore the world.

What makes Hanne's story so inspiring is the way she's used tiny house living as a tool to create the life she truly wants. Her home is a beautiful reminder that we don't necessarily need more space or more possessions to live a rich and fulfilling life.
