New Orleans Style Meets Vintage Train Car in This Stunning Tiny Home
Juliette and Jason have created a tiny home bursting with character, creativity and some seriously beautiful design. Their 34ft home on the west coast of British Columbia draws inspiration from two places they love: the distinctive architecture of New Orleans and the romance of vintage train cars. Those influences can be seen throughout the home, from the curved roof and unusual exterior colour to the iron railings, arches and wonderfully eclectic interior.
Inside, the house is packed with clever ideas. A raised lounge creates two private bunk rooms for the girls below, while the kitchen offers plenty of workspace and storage. Upstairs, the sleeping loft connects to a full-height dressing area and a beautiful little meditation nook, complete with its own New Orleans-inspired balcony.
What really stands out, though, is how personal the home feels. Plants spill from the ceiling, artwork fills the walls, copper details bring warmth throughout, and every corner seems to tell part of Juliette and Jason’s story.
After years of living in RVs, they knew they could make small-space living work. Four years into life in their tiny house, they say the design has worked so well that there’s very little they would change.
This is one seriously special tiny home, where artistry, personality and thoughtful design have come together beautifully.
