Moving Our Tiny House To The Build Site

It’s time to move the Tiny House! The team at FRAMECAD have done an incredible job with steel framing the Tiny House. We have got the tick of approval from the engineer and that means it’s time to hit the road and move the house to the build site to begin roofing and cladding.

Our builder, Alan from Bio Build, has a truck which is perfectly suited to towing the house and expertly navigated the streets to bring the Tiny House safely to it’s new home.

Loving the documentation and all the info. How much did the steel framing weigh in at and end up costing? Cheers

Great job using the right materials. I’m a builder in the US, watching your build I can tell you have done your homework. Many tiny house owners don’t put nice enough bathrooms in, to me that is very important. Take your time and I wish you all the luck in the world. I am excited to see your finished product.

Thanks Vinny! You’re totally correct about the bathroom. In our design it has been a real priority. As it’s actually the only room in the house that has a closing door, we have treated the bathroom more as a rest-room and have built in some really special features. Thanks for following our project!

    Hi, Bryce,
After watching all the video’s that you have done in NZ and a good percentage overseas, I still struggle with the fact that I have only seen a couple who have got a window or other door to escape thru in case of fire, especially from the lofts. It is something that everyone should be thinking about.

Totally agree. We will be filming a video once our house is built showcasing what we have done to make our house fire-safe.

Thank-you! We’re really getting into the exciting part now. Soon our roof and cladding will be going up. 🙂
