Tiny House

A Timeless Simple Life in Their Beautiful Tiny Home By The River

There is a timeless quality to this beautiful tiny home. It exists in the present and yet somehow reaches into the past, like a beautiful reminder of a simpler time. Here, a handcrafted tiny house truck is parked right beside a calmly flowing river, with cooking over a fire and days spent immersed in traditional crafts. It doesn’t get much better than this, and that is exactly the life that Joseph and Sian have created for themselves.

Their tiny house truck is a work of art. Packed full of handcrafted features and filled with carefully curated treasures, this tiny home has everything the couple needs and so much more. Every element is designed to feel cozy, and wherever your eyes land there is something interesting to discover.

Parked on a scenic farm in rural Devon, Joseph and Sian are both able to work from home. Sian has her specialist office wagon where she works as a psychotherapist, while Joseph works on the farm, deeply involved in the ancient, traditional craft of building Devon bank dry stone walls and hedgelaying. Here, the couple have found a way to blend the beauty of a tiny home immersed in nature with a working life that feels balanced and meaningful.

Joseph and Sian dreamed of escaping city life, the urban nine to five grind, and that is exactly what they have done. Together with their beautiful tiny home on wheels, they have shaped a life that feels both beautiful and timeless. A way of living many fear has been lost, they have proven is still possible.

We hope you enjoy the full tour of this very special tiny home. You can find out more about Sian's work here, and Joseph's here.

Joseph's work in traditional craft, hedgelaying and dry stone wall building is made possible through the Devon Rural Skills Trust. This is a wonderful origination doing very important work in keeping tradition alive. You can find out more here.
