Woman’s Spectacular Tiny House in The Wilderness

Some of us have a dream of living wild and free in the wilderness and some of us actually get out and do it! Jessica grew up on a sustainable farm with her family, where she developed a deep affinity and connection with the natural world. Her dreams of living off the grid in the wilderness were realised with the construction of her spectacular tiny house on wheels, which is now parked deep in a forest in the Okanagan region of British Columbia.

Her home is stylish and has a definite modern twist. It’s style was designed to reflect a dusty mescal bar, and while this home is about as far away from a mescal bar as you can get, it’s created a really unique piece of architecture to be parked up and placed in contrast to the towering cedar trees of of the forest.

Jessica’s parking spot is beyond incredible. Its wilderness backdrop is made complete by being situated right next to a roaring river, where the wild waterfalls cascade down and set the mood with a constant roar in the background. It’s this river where she collects pristine mountain water for her home.

The home is completely off the grid, although right now is without solar power or even a water hook up. She currently powers the home for a few hours a day with a generator, just enough to keep the fridge cold and heats up water on the fire for washing up. Living simply in nature gives her a sense of accomplishment and empowerment.
Inside, Jess’s tiny house is complete luxury. Open and stylish, her home is beautifully constructed and fully featured, with a comfortable lounge, large kitchen, bathroom and a sleeping loft with king sized bed. This home has all that you could hope for after a day exploring the forest.
